Who will deliver my wine?
For deliveries to mainland UK your order will be delivered by DPD. Deliveries to the Highlands and islands may be delivered by a third-party carrier or by DPD.
I have a delivery issue – what to do?
We try to keep an eye on delivery issues so we can advise you of any issues but due to order volumes, this isn’t always possible. If you do have an issue with your delivery, please get in touch with us as soon as possible with your order details and we will investigate the issue. Please provide us with your order and tracking number, along with a description of the problem.
Can I return the wine I ordered?
We do accept returns on wine purchases; however, we kindly ask that you contact us first so we can better understand the issue and assist in resolving it. To help us process your return efficiently, please complete the contact form with relevant details such as your account information and collection address.
Please note that all returns are subject to approval at the company’s discretion.
Once a return is approved, collections are arranged within 48 working hours of booking. If a collection is missed or fails for any reason, don’t hesitate to get in touch—we’ll be happy to reschedule for a more convenient time.
International delivery
We currently don’t offer international deliveries
Can I add a gift note to my order?
If you’d like to add a gift note once your order has been placed, please do drop us a line at hello@thewinecaverns.co.uk as soon as possible so we can add the note before the order if packed by our Despatch team. Please do let us know your order number and the note you would like added. We will confirm via email that we were able to accommodate your request.
I’ve ordered the wrong items; can I change it?
If your order hasn’t been despatched from the warehouse, we will be able to put a hold on it and then we will be back in touch to confirm the changes you’d like made. As soon as you realise your mistake, please do either give us a call on 0330 122 5290 (Mon-Fri, 0900-1700hrs) or drop us a line at hello@thewinecaverns.co.uk and we will endeavour to get your order amended for you.
My discount code isn’t working.
You can enter your discount codes at the checkout, which should then apply the discount to the valid items in your basket. If it isn’t working, it might be one of a couple of things.
- Only one code will apply at the checkout, so there are no double discounts
- Discounts don’t apply to items that are already on offer
- Discount codes are case sensitive
- If you’re trying to apply your ‘Welcome Discount’ there are a few terms and conditions:
- Offer valid on purchase of 75cl bottles
- Offer valid on basket value of £75 and over
- Offer can’t be used in conjunction with any other offers
- If you’re still having problems with your discount code applying at the checkout, please do give us a call on 0330 122 5290 (Mon-Fri, 0900-1700hrs) or drop us a line at hello@thewinecaverns.co.uk with details of the items in your basket and the discount code, and we will take a look into it for you.
Are invoices included?
We don’t ship any paperwork out with our deliveries.
I have received my order but no longer want the wine. Is there anything I can do?
If you’ve just changed your mind about your order, we can accept the items back as long as they are received back at our warehouse in saleable condition. You as the customer are responsible for the organisation and payment of the return shipment, but we can always provide you with a quote if this would be helpful. Please do let us know that you intend to return your order by emailing us at hello@thewinecaverns.co.uk and we will provide you the return address, and a quote for the collection if required. Once the items are received safely back at the warehouse, a refund for those items can be processed.
How do I track my order?
We will send you an e-mail once your order has been despatched, you can track it by following the link supplied in the email or you can check your order online, by logging in to your account and clicking on order history.
Why haven't I received my order?
We aim to deliver all packages within 3-5 working days. If your delivery is outside of that timeframe, please use your tracking number from your confirmation email to follow your package. If you have any trouble with this, please email hello@thewinecaverns.co.uk with your order number and we will investigate the delay.

Your wine should always arrive with you in perfect condition, but if any item has been damaged along the way please let us know and we will put this right for you.
What vintage is the wine?
On each product page, there will be a description of the product along with some details about the vintage and ABV. If a product is marked as NV, this means that it is non-vintage i.e. made from a blend of grapes from different years.
Are your wines suitable for vegans?
Many wines in our range are suitable for vegans, yes. If you head to Wines > By Specialist Range > Vegan Wines you will find the full selection across all our brands, in one place.
Do your wines contain sulphites?
Yes, our wines, like most wines, contain some naturally occurring sulphites.
