Following the success of our fundraising efforts for the NHS in 2020, we have chosen to support Hospitality Action this year.
From hotels, restaurants, pubs, bars and cafés to schools, hospitals and event venues, they're here to give everyone in hospitality the help, advice and support they need whenever times get tough.
2020 was a devasting year for the UK hospitality sector. Thousands of well-known and local independent businesses ceased trading and hundreds of thousands of jobs were lost. Beyond the economic impact of the pandemic, its effect on mental wellbeing has also been profound. Here's where Hospitality Action come in.
They were one of the first grant-making charities in the UK to react to the pandemic, and quickly deployed a range of emergency measures including financial assistance, outreach and increased mental health service provision to those most effected. As the situation evolves in 2021 they continue to adapt their offering and provide innovative, timely and practical ways to support the industry we all know and love.
